Pan-Fried Clams Recipes
Ingredients:
1 lb Clams
2 cups Panko Breading
2 Eggs
Milk
Flour
Salt and Pepper
Garlic Powder
Vegetable Oil
Method:
Rinse clams under cold water and drain. Mix flour with salt, pepper, and garlic to taste. Beat eggs with small amount of milk. Place about 1/2 inch oil in a large frying pan on a medium high setting. Dredge the clams through the flour first, then the eggs and last through the panko breading, making sure the clams are fully covered through each step. Once oil is hot, place the clams in the fry pan. Cook 45 to 60 seconds per side until golden brown. Place fried clams on paper towel to drain excess oil. Makes a yummy pile of clam goodies.
